PURPOSELY ANOINTED MIME MINISTRY

Purposely Anointed Mime Ministry is the vision of Amber Goins.  She is the daughter of Alberta and Timothy Goins.  She is also a member of the magnificant Word Alive Ministries in Lakeland,FL.

Inspired by the Mime Boys, Amber began dancing at around the age of 7 or 8.  She got her Liturgical Dance experience from Regina Johnson of Joy in Praise in Plant City, FL.  Regina began teaching dance at workshops that Amber attended, even at her home church.  From then on, God placed an anointing on Amber's life.  Amber then gained experience and taught herself to dance.  She also learned choreography and began teaching the dance group at her own church.  Amber was probably around the age of 9 or 10 when she choregraphed, "Now Behold The Lamb," by Kirk Franklin.  From then on she started teaching herself sign language and incorporated it with the dances.  The anointing of God in her life continued to flow!  Amber then taught herself to Mime.  The first Mime song she performed was on Christmas to Kirk Franklin's, "The Night That Christ Was Born."  From that point on, Amber has continued to Mime.  She has since danced at several churches, conventions, baby showers, weddings and has also won several competitions.  As God continues to move in Amber's life, she will continue to minister to God's people through dance!
